
Sauced Myself was born during one of the most uncertain times in recent history, the 2020 pandemic. While the world slowed down and many were stuck indoors searching for purpose or inspiration, Marquetta, the brand’s founder, was doing just that from a small, scenic town called Eagle River, Alaska.
Nestled among snow-covered mountains and isolation, she turned to YouTube to escape the monotony of lockdown life. It was there she stumbled upon a travel vlogger who explored the world with an electric skateboard in tow. Something about that freedom and the feeling of gliding through unfamiliar streets with nothing but wheels and wonder struck a deep chord. One video led to another and soon, Marquetta was knee-deep in the world of electric skateboarding. Curiosity quickly turned into passion.
Eventually, she got her first electric skateboard. But there was a problem.
As she geared up for her first rides, Marquetta realized there wasn’t really any apparel that fit her new vibe. She didn’t want to be boring or basic. She wanted clothes that matched the thrill, the creativity, and the rebellious energy of skating something that felt expressive, vibrant, and uniquely her. That’s when the spark hit: if it didn’t exist, she’d create it.
And just like that, Sauced Myself was born. A lifestyle brand inspired by movement, self-expression, and the bold decision to create your own wave when none exist.
Our Mission
Our mission is to pioneer a unity culture that connects diverse people through eskate. SM seeks to support, uplift, and cultivate a diverse eskate community. To aid in this mission we want to create products, resources, and media that promote unity, holistic living, and active lifestyle. We will work to keep this promise to ensure that it inspires more members of humanity to become advocates of positive change and influence. To also encourage confidence in self-expression, authenticity, unique style and inspiration. A key fundamental that helps to solidify a lifestyle we call co-creative unity culture.
